Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: - 36 hours per week for 3x12-hour shifts - 48 hours per week for 4x12-hour shifts Experience: 18 months required; exceptions may apply depending on the unit License: - For start dates 2-4 weeks out, an IN or compact license is needed - For start dates 4 weeks out, the IN/compact licensing process must be initiated Certifications: Required certifications depend on the unit description Must-Have: - Must be willing to work charge - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Job Description: - Open to accommodating a block schedule; details to be discussed - Pending licenses are not accepted; in-state license and required certifications must be ready - Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals - Mandatory 12-hour non-billable orientation - Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only - Maintain compliance with traveler university accreditation by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation - Must provide 2 supervisor references - Charting is done on Cerner
